If autumn had a flavour, apples would definitely be part of it.
On October 10 at 4:00 PM, Novigrad celebrates Apple Day, a local event dedicated to homemade apple treats and the flavours of the season. Members of the Zdravi Novigrad association will prepare a selection of apple cakes and desserts available in exchange for donations. The programme also includes a cooking competition featuring both sweet and savoury apple dishes, along with a few sweet surprises.
Visitors can also browse stalls with fresh apples, handmade crafts and traditional local products, making it a lovely little stop for an autumn afternoon in Novigrad. And if you have a favourite apple recipe of your own, you can even join the cooking competition.
