After last year’s first edition, Maslinica Farmers Market is returning to Maslinica Hotels & Resort, once again bringing together local family farms, producers, small businesses and artisans for a day dedicated to local products, traditions and the people behind them.
The second Maslinica Farmers Market will take place at Lungomare Maslinica Restaurant & Pizzeria, with the market opening at 11:00 AM. Throughout the day, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the stands of local exhibitors, taste their products, meet the people who make them and perhaps take a little piece of Istria home with them. The idea behind the Farmers Market has been simple from the very beginning: to bring local producers, residents and guests staying in Rabac together in one place, while introducing visitors to the products, traditions and stories of our region.
A Little More Farm in This Year’s Farmers Market
The second edition brings some exciting new additions. Animals are joining us at the Farmers Market this year, adding a true countryside touch to the day and giving our youngest visitors another reason to stop by. And for those looking for something a little more adventurous, there is a completely different kind of challenge waiting – a mechanical bull. From 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, we’ll find out who can stay in the saddle the longest during our mechanical bull riding competition. The rules are simple: hold on for as long as you can. Who will set this year’s Maslinica Farmers Market record? There is only one way to find out.
From Local Traditions to Live Music 
As the afternoon turns into evening, the Farmers Market will continue with a celebration of local culture and music. At 6:00 PM, RUKD “Rudar” Raša and KUD “Zvir” Jelenje will take the stage, bringing traditional music, dance and costumes to Maslinica. Then, from 6:30 PM, the Highlanders are back! Following their performance at last year’s Farmers Market, the band returns for the second edition to round off the day with live music and a great atmosphere.

Maslinica Farmers Market is all about bringing people together – our guests and the local community, tradition and entertainment, local products and the people who create them. After a successful first edition last year, we are continuing the story with an even more eventful Farmers Market this year.
