Autumn in Istria means truffle season, and Livade is one of the best places to experience it.
From October 3 to November 1, Livade hosts Zigante Truffle Days, a celebration of truffles, local producers and Istrian gourmet products. Held every Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, the fair gives visitors the opportunity to taste and discover fresh truffles alongside a variety of local products and specialties. The location couldn’t be more fitting. Livade sits beside the famous Motovun Forest, one of Istria’s best-known areas for white truffles, making October an especially interesting time to visit.
